Applications

We are always on the look out for wonderful items for our market. As the market has a small number of stalls (70 or less) it is really important that we don’t have too many of the same thing. We will limit each type of stall so we can ensure variety and broader customer appeal.

Confirmation of Your Stall

Once your application to have a stall with us has been approved you will receive an email from us with our bank account details. Your site will be confirmed when your payment clears.

Council Permits and Food Stalls

The SWDC require us to submit information to them if you are planning on having food prepared at the park for sale so please email the appropriate paper work for us with your application.

Any person selling food at our markets regardless of whether they are preparing food at the park for sale or are food businesses registered with Council require a food stall licence from Council to sell at our markets. Any request for information regarding this should be addressed either to Terri Hannah, Council Environmental Services Administrator, or to Council Environmental Health officer, Fester Caramto.

Cancellation Policy

In the past a large number of phone calls and texts have been sent regarding this issue. The decision to come to the market is entirely up to the stallholder. Unless there is a civil emergency the market will run rain, hail or shine. Please refer to our Facebook page on the morning of the market for an update if you are unsure.

  • The market does not provide trestle tables or marquees.
  • Stalls are allocated on the day, not in advance.
  • On the Friday before each market stall holders are sent an email with guidance for the market.
  • Stallholders can commence set up from 8am on market day.

Power for Stallholders

SWDC have installed a power outlet so we can have food and coffee stall holders.

Stall Holder Parking

There is free parking in the large car park on the corner of Hastwell and West Street (opposite Fresh choice car park). We would ask that all stall holders and locals use this car park to free up the limited parking on the Main Street for customers. The car park is located about 1 minute’s walk for the park so access to your vehicles will be easy.

ATM Facilities

There is an ANZ hole in the wall ATM located conveniently across the road from the Stella Bull Park for your customers to withdraw cash.

The Greytown Country MARKET will not be providing an EFTPOS machine on the day. We are certainly open to offering this if there is a need in the fullness of time.

Rubbish Disposal

Please minimise waste and use the rubbish bins on the Park

Toilets

The Greytown Public Library is a 2 minute walk from the Stella Bull Park if you require these facilities. They have a change table and disabled toilets. Also there are the public toilets on Main Street by the pedestrian crossing.

Dogs and Stella Bull Park

The Stella Bull Park is dog friendly if they are on a lead.

Shared Stalls

We will review shared applications on a case by case basis. Up to 2 businesses may share a site at an additional cost of $15 per month.

Each business must apply separately and provide photographs of their goods. Please indicate in your email who you are applying with.
